The annual Birthday post.
Once a year I get a birthday. I'm sure you are familiar my annual posts of factoids that happened on my birthday over different years, lists I want to complete within the next 365 days, or throw back photos of myself as a *very* cute wee child. Today I'd rather stray from these self centered posts (although they are pretty neat) and just leave you with a few letters of thanks to people who are near and dear to my heart.
I am so glad you chose me as your bride. God has a wonderful plan for me, and I am so thankful that you are a part of it.
You have grown into such a beautiful woman that I hardly recognize you. You are doing so well at being a mother and a wife. I am blessed to have been able to share part of my childhood with you, and *almost* all of my childhood birthdays. I miss you so much it breaks my heart.
I'm pretty sure heaven is pretty legit, but I selfishly want you here, just for one more day. Please keep looking out for Dad, and give Jesus a high five for me.
Your Big Sister
I am AMAZED at this community I have found myself immersed in. The love, the stories, the encouragement, it astounds me. I cannot thank you ladies enough for your love and support for my first blog series. Jesus clearly has a hand in this. Thank you.
Thank you for choosing life.
Your first born child
If you would, guide my heart today to speak with your words, and guide my actions to speak for your sacrifice. You have stirred something within my soul that I cannot ignore. Your love is not unseen, lead me to stand as a beacon for your light.
